  Shades & Colors of  Love—Words of Affirmation By Rev. Nicholas Sybrowsky  Heb. (נּט רּקהץ מּןביםךשד דּטנרם'דלט) Gk. ( Βψ Ρεω. Νιξηολασ Σψβροωσκψ ) Opening Word & Reading for Worship: Psalm 119:97-104 Mem "Just like water, the Word sustains us daily."   ~Tatyana Yaremkiv  In these verses, the psalmist talks to God about his love for the Word and reveals how it has helped and affected his life.  In prior sections of this Hebrew alphabet Psalm 119, he seems to cry out to God about enemies, difficulties, and trials more than anything.  But here [I agree with writer Tatyana Yaremkiv] that it's more than a coincidence that the definition of Mem connects with these verses. Just as water is a symbol of life, growth and refreshment, so is the Bible for us today.  We need it daily!  As we read through the verses, think about the various ways that God's Word affects you each day: "MEM.
