Establish Residency

In order to give you our very best we must keep our own house in order.  To do this we’ve agreed to make our household move in September & October to establish residency at the Parsonage in Dove Creek, Colorado (DCC).  We are seasoned movers, yet we need space, prayer & help to make this move effective.  We have 5 moves notched on our belt; Washington State, Oahu-Hawaii, Virginia Beach, VA twice & West Valley City, Utah.  It never really gets any easier!

Sustain Naval Commitment

My agreement with the Navy doesn’t end until June 30, 2024.  Bound by federal law to serve & support National security I must pull my weight in the office at the Military Entry Processing Station Salt Lake City, UT (SLC).  I get to screen, interview & hire the best candidates America has to offer for Naval Service.  Kelli Sue will reside full time in the Parsonage while I commute 600 miles each weekend.

Sustain Seminary & Upgrade Credentials

I’ve been certified with the Assemblies of God (AG) since June of ’18.  Arrangements are in process to take License to Preach Exam which will be followed by an interview with the Executive Presbyter.  As your Pastor, you deserve the very best and I am committed to finish the Ordination level academics and by-law residency requirement.  This will ensure you get the very best of me theologically & doctrinally.  My rate of progress is one class each month until finished.  Projecting I’ll be finished with Seminary formally near April of ’24.  Per AG By-laws I must carry the License Level for two years before Ordination can be formalized.  Should be April of ’25 if not sooner.

Maximize Battle Rhythm to Preach

“Preach the Gospel at all times and when necessary use words”

I love the quote from Saint Francis of Assisi.  This is something I encourage all of us to live each day & night.  My intention is sustainment in this example & the use of words to execute anointed expository preaching. "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." [Rom 10:17 NIV] Faith comes by hearing, so preach we must do!  Faithfully, fervently & boldly I will be your primary Preacher.  I implore you to pray with me that I may live this out fully & that the hearer may come to know our Holy Father.  May we saturate ourselves in the Spirit invoking anointing upon Dove Creek as we enter a new season of writing sermons and presenting the Gospel from the Pulpit & in our lifestyle.

Discover Digital Footprint

Gaining a comprehensive understanding of our digital network and our ability to reach others with the Gospel is critical in this era.  Personally, having one foot in SLC & another in DCC, I suspect this is an opportunity to research & develop a plan that is feasible, prudent, frugal & generous in supporting productive media that promotes a reputable brand reflecting the image of God.

Build Rapport & Trust

Let’s get to know one another as brothers & sisters in Christ being built up as a body of Saints that worship the Lord our God in Spirit & truth.  Remove all doubt about it, trust is something that is built and earned.  Yes, we give to get, but trust is built and earned.  Let us love as Christ loved us first.

Let us love as Christ loved us first.

Win for Christ!
