Just a Cat?

Pepe' Le Pew is no ordinary cat.  Technically his "Kitty Kitty" resemblance is actually a cover story.  This member of our family joined us sometime near '05-'06.  When the girls joined me on the Navy Journey they left behind Nana Karen, Boots the cat, Midas the horse and Cowboy the horse.  Bailey had contact with various other livestock before our adventure too.  She expressed an interest in getting a rabbit for a pet.  Needless to share we did not get a rabbit.  Instead we got Pepe' the "Keekee", one of his various nick names.  Little did we know that in time we would discover that he was using his cat complexion as a cover story to infiltrate our home and family on behalf of the CIA.  

It all happened in Smokey Point, Washington in our duplex home.  Numerous times we would find a stuffed rabbit holding an orange carrot between its front paws loitering in our kitchen, the hall way, the stairway and living room down stairs.  Bailey's bedroom was on the second floor of our massive duplex.  Well, "massive" for this little kitty.  

After further investigation we caught this warrior cat dragging the stuffed rabbit down the stairwell.  Pepe was charged with assault and battery because the rabbit desired to press charges.  The court was able to settle the matter between the two subjects by letting the rabbit loose in the yard, so long as he leave the carrot behind for our wanna be rabbit.

Thus we call Pepe' Le Pew our secret agent rabbit!  What was classified: Top Secret for 19 years has now been shared with you.  Of course by permission from the Cat Intelligence Agency.  No cats, rentals or humans were hurt in any of the operations Pepe was engaged.  Only one exception the stuffed rabbit belonging to Bailey is without his carrot. 

We care for the carrot he once held in secret.  It's now a family keepsake.  With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to our fantastic friend!  Pepe' Le Pew the Jackelope Rabbit

We gave our hearts to Pepe' each time he purred with us a star volume of times over the course of nearly 19 years; born in May of 2005.

Personally the path Pepe' lit up for me was relative to self-awareness and deep soulful healing of which the complexities stretch the the night sky.

Giving this friend of ours permission to enter everlasting eternity truly tear's me apart.  Grateful am I to have confidence that this Creature of God will be with him in the afterlife and we too will be with our friend again someday.

Before we found you in the window we observed the possibility of our bond in the sky.  As many stars as there are sand particles on the beaches.  The U-turn made just in time before you went to another family.

If God would permit me to walk into His heavenly presence with Pepe in my arms.  I certainly would.  Evidently the Lord has another plan on our life.

You lost physical weight in the course of six months or more.  You tried to keep going but it wasn't possible for you to sustain yourself any longer and that's okay buddy.

The ride to the vet clinic was remarkable in that you didn't ask "why" once.  You knew it was time and you didn't object to the car ride that you would complain about non-stop.  Just another sign that this was your time to be with the Creator in the afterlife.

When all else fades in this earthly life.  Faith, love and hope abide, the greatest of these virtues is love (1 Cor. 13:7 & :13).  Our hearts find faith rest (Heb. 3, Ps. 95:7)in knowing God's love endures forever (BLB 46 ESV Addresses).

Pepe' Le Pew listened to us as we preached the excellent way of love.  We fulfilled the law of love mo' betta' because of your loving spirit.

A Tribute to All Cats

Thanks to my spouse and her background my heart and mind became more open to the idea of raising a cat.  Below is a great tribute to cats, product of the late Walt Disney.

Though his remains are now dust and ash within this box the Spirit and Soul of Pepe are one with the Creator in Heaven.
